Beth Hoffman has spent twenty years writing and producing work on food and agriculture. Her areas of expertise have grown to include the potential of agriculture in development, the financial viability of farms, and sustainability in agriculture. She has also researched and written extensively about farm transition from one generation to the next and taught at the University of San Francisco full-time for six years. Now she is a beginning farmer on a 530-acre farm in Iowa, raising grass-finished beef with her husband on his family's 150+ year old farm.
