SHOW NOTES
My passion for farming sparked when I was a child digging for potatoes, I was eager and willing to eat anything that came out of our garden. I wanted to get my hands dirty and I wanted to see all that I was capable of. That passion stuck with me and I knew I had to make a career out of it eventually. Flash forward to 2020, a year that was unforgettable for us all, my father and I bought a farm together. A farm my family had been coming to since the late 90’s to pick our own produce and enjoy what the land hand to offer. My father and I are carrying on the tradition of the farm we’ve always loved and are finding ways to make it more community oriented and sustainable as ever. We’ve partnered with local cider makers, wine makers, grocery stores, other farms, etc. We’ve opened up a pizzeria at the farm and are aiming to bring as much farm to table experience as we can. We want every child, every adult, and every family, that comes through our gate to experience what a real working farm looks like. To picking your own strawberries and pumpkins, to feeding the chickens and ducks, and to digging for potatoes just like I did, we’re a farm for everyone. I’m grateful to have seen my farming dream come true and hope we can spark other children’s interest in the agricultural world.
